Description
A (3,5) torus knot made from bronze, it is 11" in diameter, 4" deep, and weighs approximately 22 pounds. This image shows the piece after the mounting rod has been welded in place, some repolishing has been done, and the sculpture mounted on the 12"x12" bluestone base over a curved mirror.

Removal of the core was done using a high pressure water hose through two windows left open in the casting. But there were many imperfections in the casting process which created holes and two large gaps, all of which have been filled in by welding.
