Abstract
This short article on family living appeared in Broome County Living magazine, published by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Broome County, New York, and is part of a collection of such articles available on the Open Repository at Binghamton University. Empathetic support and advice is offered to parents of very young children, tapping many sources to support for this advice. Recommendations are framed by the author’s personal anecdotes. Child development information is provided with the aim of encouraging sympathetic understanding of toddler behavior.
