The computer model was created with the 3D graphics program, Rhino for Mac. The cross section is a triangle with concave sides (close to a hypocycloid) where the triangle rotates slightly as it goes around the curve so that when it comes back to the start, it has rotated just 120 degrees. This copy of the model was printed by Shapeways.com
