Notes

Jerry Stannard presented “Presocratic Methodology” to the Society for Ancient Greek Philosophy at its meeting with the American Philological Association in Ann Arbor, Michigan, in 1961. A later version was published as “The Presocratic Origin of Explanatory Method” in the Philosophical Quarterly 15 (60) (1965):193-206.

The University of Kansas library has a collection of Jerry W. Stannard's papers, with a biographical sketch introducing the collection.
