Below are pictures of a 3D printed sculpture of a design I created many years ago based on the Star of David, originally made by soldering thin metal rods together. Four such stars are placed on the faces of a tetrahedron, so that each star touches an adjacent star at three points. Three of these pictures show a 3D printed version made from strong flexible plastic where each line segment of each star is 3" long. I received these models from Shapeways.com.
