Timothy Norton is a writer and teacher of Creative Writing, Composition, and Literature at Old Dominion University, and leads a fiction workshop and craft classes at The Muse Writers’ Center in Norfolk, Virginia. Their creative work primarily focuses on depictions of life and art as they are presented in the real world; with brutalist prose grounded in emotional empathy. Timothy’s prose, poetry, and non-fiction can all be found online. As a professor Timothy is currently administering an international translation of an influential 1920’s Japanese Literary Journal and conducting advocacy for fellow University Professors.
