The Sustainability Hub is a physical and virtual space that promotes campus research and pedagogy while also providing information, resources, education, programming, and outreach on sustainability-related topics for the campus and local community. Originally created by subject librarians Jennifer Embree and Neyda Gilman, the Sustainability Hub seeks to support the long-term cultivation of a campus-wide culture where sustainability efforts are valued, recognized, and easily accessible.

The Sustainability Hub is based out of the Science Library at Binghamton University. It currently operates the Science Library Seed Library from this location. The Sustainability Hub also has an online guide that contains sustainability information, resources, videos, events, and more. The Sustainability Hub’s ORB section is open to any student, faculty, or staff member that is interested in uploading their sustainability-related content. Whether it’s an event recording, a copy of a zine created for a class project, a published article, presentation slides, or some other product, please feel free to add your sustainability-related work to our ORB section! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to sushub@binghamton.edu.

For other works related to sustainability, check out the Institute for Development Anthropology and Geological Sciences and Environmental Studies Faculty Scholarship series on the ORB.
